partypoker to host Super High Roller Bowl Online Series

The coronavirus pandemic is surely turning the poker players towards online tournaments and the industry is taking the effort to make the most of our upcoming month! Following a huge success of Poker Masters Online Series, partypoker is right here with high-stakes action, launching the inaugural Super High Roller Bowl (SHRB) Online Series in partnership with Poker Central.

The 9-day long series will kick off on 23 May to continue till 1 June running simultaneously with GGPoker’s WSOPS Circuit Online Series $100 million GTD that will conclude on 31 May. The SHRB guarantees more than $20 million across 28 High Roller events ranging between $10,000 buy-in to as high as $100,000, every single tournament will be a two-day event. The series will also have leaderboard points, whichever player collects the most points in the first 27 events will receive a free entry into SHRB Online event which comes with a buy-in of $100k and a whopping guarantee of $3 million.

McCabe said, “After a successful Poker Masters Online tournament, we knew we had to continue the momentum with an online Super High Roller Bowl series in lieu of a live tournament this year. SHRB’s expansion efforts have reached Australia, UK, Russia, along with tournaments in China and this year’s stop at partypoker. Tom Waters, partypoker Managing Director said, “In this time of increased caution, partypoker’s goal is to help fans and players in the poker industry continue to partake in the excitement of the game.”

With a packed schedule for May, we must not forget that one of the oldest and prestigious brands, World Poker Tour (WPT) is also hosting an online series between 10 to 26 May. The largest tournament will be WPT Online Championship $5 million GTD. The winner will secure the gigantic trophy and entry ticket to Baccarat Crystal WPT Tournament of Champions.
