The long-awaited day for poker players has finally arrived as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) releases the entire international schedule for its 2021 Online Series. Announced by WSOP and GGPoker, one of the world’s biggest online poker platforms, the events are set to begin from 1 May onwards. First will be the Super Circuit Online Series which will commence on Saturday, 1 May 2021. The annual WSOP Online 2021 International Tournament will commence on 1 August, 2021.
All the WSOP online international tournaments will be held on the GGPoker platform, so if you haven’t registered yet, do it now! For players in the United States, they will enter the event through WSOP.com.
This WSOP event has a prize pool of USD 100 Million and will be held at the GGPoker platform. The schedule for this event will run from 1 May to 30 May, 2021. There will be a total of 18 WSOP Circuit rings that will be up for grabs. However, the highly prized WSOP Gold Circuit ring will be given to each tournament’s champion. But that’s not all as an additional two circuit ring will also be given to cash game pros in the No Limit Hold’em and the Pot Limit Omaha leaderboard toppers.
The biggest poker tournament in the world, the WSOP 2021 event will be hosting its annual event on GGPoker and WSOP.com. The online series for the domestic leg will start on 1 July on WSOP’s site and the international leg will start on 1 August on GGPoker. This time there will be 33 gold bracelet events to be won. Satellites for the WSOP USD 10,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship, also known as ‘The Main Event®,’ will be hosted on GGPoker and WSOP.com from 1 August.
Gregory Chochon, Director of WSOP said, “One of our goals is to provide as many people the chance to become champions as possible. However, we know not everyone can or is comfortable traveling yet, so continuing a robust online bracelet offering in 2021 is a must.”
With the WSOP events starting soon, we hope to see many Indian poker pros taking to the world stage and hopefully winning a prestigious gold bracelet as well.
