Football star Neymar Jr returns to the poker scene once again and rejoins PokerStars a sporting ambassador. The well-known striker had initially joined PokerStars in 2015 but left after two years in 2017. The star announced his return with a social media post and looked quite excited to be back.
According to Forbes’s magazine, the Olympic gold medalist is the fourth highest paid athlete in the world in 2020. Neymar’s passion for sports has led him to poker as well and the star is thrilled to be back.
When asked about the renewal of the partnership, Neymar replied that he was excited to start a new chapter with PokerStars. Furthermore, he stated that he’s looking forward to creating more moments for the poker community and fans all over the world. The player also loved the sense of community, fun and unpredictable moments that are a part of the game and is also close personal friends with GGPoker’s ambassador Felipe Ramos.
