New PokerGO series breaks down WSOP with Matt Berkey


With the virus growing at an alarming rate it is wiser to binge watch poker shows at home. Certainly, the poker fanatics must have been disappointed by the postponement of the 2020 WSOP to autumn but remember that Poker Central is always there to make the best out of the current situation. Poker Central and PokerGO are bringing poker fans up to date insights of some classic WSOP final tables! Isn’t that too exciting?

Poker Central announced on its website that, “Its direct-to-consumer OTT subscription service, PokerGO, is launching its newest original series 2020 Hindsight.” In the times of isolation, the series will definitely cheer up the fans across the globe. The 2020 Hindsight series will break down six of the most exciting WSOP Main Event final tables. The show was premiered yesterday, 21 April, hosted by high stakes poker pro and founder of Solve for Why Poker Training, Matt Berkey.

“This is a great forum for us to introduce advanced concepts to the masses,” said Berkey. “Understanding where mistakes were made on the biggest stage can be useful to players across all skill levels.”

The first episode focused on the 2010 WSOP Main Event FT featuring Michael Mizrachi, Joseph Cheong, John Dolan, Jason Senti, Filippo Caandio, John Racener and eventual champion Jonathan Duhamel. The new episodes will be released every week for the next six weeks and each episode will be 40 minutes long.

The 2020 Hindsight is the latest original series available exclusively through PokerGO streaming service. A month ago, Poker Central launched two original series – ‘The Championship Run’ and ‘Run it Back with Remko’. Both shows feature commentary on legendary poker cash games and tournaments as poker stars down key hands and strategic gameplay.

J.R. McCabe, Chief Business Officer of Poker Central stated, “Our viewers are not only fans of the game of poker, but oftentimes, players themselves. This new series will provide teachable moments to sharpen individual gameplay, all while reliving some of the most iconic WSOP hands.”
