Muskan Sethi progresses to EPT Prague Main Event Day 2

PokerStars LIVE is currently hosting the prestigious 2018 EPT Prague at the Caisno Atrium in the Czech capital. The series started on 7^th December, and is a 12-day extravaganza, ending on 18^th. The series already declared a few winners for the events, some being Akin Tuna, Matthias Eibinger, Thomas Boivin and Boris Mondrus.

The main attraction of the series is the €5,300 EPT Main Event. Day 1B of the Main Event is already in the books. The two starting flights attracted a combined total of 1156 entries, including the 785 entries (109 re-entries) made on Day 1B, out of which only 300 made it to see the light on Day 2.

The 10 one-hour levels of gameplay saw Austrian poker player Armin Mette emerge as the chip leader on Day 1B, bagging 280,000 chips at the end of the day, which makes him 2^nd in overall chip lead, behind Day 1A chip leader John Sarailis with 297,400 chips. Mette is followed by Aku Joentausta (276,000), French pro Arthur Conan (275,000) and Danish Simon Pedersen (265,400).

Some well-known names were also in the mix, but alas, didn’t make it through to see Day 2. Jasper Meijer van Putten, the winner of 2017 EUREKA series Main Event in Prague, was one of the busted players. Others include the 2016 World Series of Poker (WSOP) ME 5th place finisher Vojtech Ruzicka and partypoker MILLIONS Barcelona SHR winner Davidi Kitai.

Holding the Indian flag was PokerStars Team Pro Muskan Sethi, making it to see Day 2 with 27,500 chips. She became India’s first female sponsored pro when PokerStars signed her up back in April of this year. Accompanying her was another woman PokerStars Team Pro, Netherlands’ Fatima Moreira de Melo with 30,500 chips.

Other known players to enter qualify for Day 2 yesterday were Jan Schwippert 150k, 2018 APT Finale SHR winner Phachara Wongwichit (136,100), Antoine Labat (113,800) and Caribbean Poker Party 2018 ME winner Filipe Oliveira (45,700).
