Surely, the BIGGEST attraction last night was the Spartan Poker‘s IOPC Main Event – The Crown Day guaranteeing a whopping INR 3 Crore! Comprising of 8 starting flights, Day 1A kicked off with 515 entries chipping in INR 11,000. It took 4+ hours of intense grinding and eventually ‘HeroCaller’ powered through the field and accumulated the largest stack of 266,191. The chip leader is followed by Sanat Mehrotra aka ‘avneed’ with 255,416 chips and Deepak Bothra aka ‘chimpoo’ who has been making deep runs is bagging the third largest stack of 241,310 chips. However, only 61 survivors will meet the rest on Day 2, 26 July at 10 pm.
The signature Monday tourney of Spartan Poker, IOPC #80 ReCharge INR 20 Lakhs GTD pulled in a massive 1,103 entries. This number produced a guarantee-smashing prize pool of INR 22.06 Lakhs and money reached the top 111 players. Climbing up to claim and capture the title along with the prize money was ‘ro3bet’ who defeated online reg Arjunn Agrawal aka ‘SirMuckAlot’ in heads-up and took home his first IOPC title!
At 9:30 pm, IOPC #81 INR 7 Lakhs GTD kicked off on Spartan Poker displaying a buy-in of INR 3,300. The event drew attention of 229 entries and the top 31 players went out with INR 6.1K as min-cash. Racing ahead of the rest was Pranay Chawla aka ‘kabira speaking’ who knocked out ‘mmundhara1’ in heads-up battle and clinched to the prestigious title, adding the winning amount to his poker wallet.
PokerBaazi’s Monday headlining event, The Bout INR 10 Lakhs GTD had registered 343 entries. The INR 2,750 buy-in event saw the champion in ‘rhiotvaphi’ who emerged triumphant and boosted his poker bankroll by adding INR 2.1 Lakhs in first prize. It was circuit grinder Sagar Choudhury aka ‘sagarpupul’ who finished in the second place for INR 1.47 Lakhs. Money reached the top 45 spots and INR 5,600 was awarded to each player as minimum cash.
A total of 307 entries took part in Monday flagship event of Adda52 APF Inception INR 10 Lakhs GTD. The final prize pool was divided among the top 34 players, but the lion’s chunk belonged to circuit grinder Vishal Madan aka ‘IsnapUcry’ who defeated Deepak Singh aka ‘Peacelover’ in heads-up to clinch to the top prize of INR 2.50 Lakhs while his opponent banked INR 1.15 Lakhs for finishing second.
