India’s Anmol ‘bemyyfriend’ Srivats leads Day 1G of WSOP Main Event


The 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online continues to dominate the virtual felts. The focus is on the $25 million GTD Event #77: $5,000 NLHE Main Event that played out four more starting flights. So far 10 flights have concluded with a total 1,857 entries out of which 342 players advanced to Day 2.

The seventh starting flight, Day 1G kicked off with 194 entries. Only 32 players made it to Day 2. Leading the crowd was India’s Anmol ‘bemyyfriend’ Srivats who accumulated a stack of 649,699. Srivats finished 3rd in Event #67: $500 Limit Hold’em for $45,102 (~INR 22.97 Lakhs). Andres ‘chokitin’ Korn bagged 624,071 chips and Dinesh ‘NastyMinder’ Alt with 620,747 chips.

First 2020 WSOP Bracelet winner Jonathan ‘Serenity’ Dokler amassed 1,021,967 chips on Day 1H to become the overall chip leader. The eighth starting flight attracted 113 entries. The field whittled down to 18 players progressing to the next flight. In the second place was Stoyan ‘Nirvana76’ Madanzhiev with 663,411 chips and ‘pipostinkt’ with 513,521 chips.
