HNY 2019 series to begin today on 9stacks

9stacks, the relatively new entrant in the Indian online poker industry, has grown rapidly in the past few months. They received a fairly large investment recently and have been putting it to good use, hosting plenty of exciting promotions and daily tournaments of all buy-ins to suit every kind of pocket.

They just recently launched the Happy New Year (HNY) 2019 Series. The series started on 1st Jan and will run till 6th Jan 2019. The 6-day series will witness a total of INR 1 Crores in guaranteed prizes. These are included in the series which also features a leaderboard worth INR 8 Lakhs for the duration, paying out the top 15 players.

Today, the series will see its first tournament, the Tuesday Stacks INR 5 Lakhs GTD being hosted for a buy-in of INR 3,300. It begins at 8 pm. Tomorrow’s and day after’s Wednesday and Thursday Stacks also have the same guarantee and buy-in. There are 8 tournaments studded in the series, with one tournament, the Sunday SLAM, touching INR 30 Lakhs GTD.

High Roller (HR) SLAM will be hosted on 4^th January at 8pm. This is a very high-stakes tournament and has a buy-in of INR 22,000 and guarantee of INR 25 Lakhs. The next highlight event will be hosted on the penultimate day, 5^th January – Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) SLAM. This is yet another high value event of INR 11,000 buy-in and INR 10 Lakhs GTD.

The last day will witness a total of three tournaments, with the value increasing gradually as time progresses. The first one will be hosted at 3pm on 6^th January called the Sunday Boom for INR 2,200 and INR 5 Lakhs GTD, followed by the weekly regular Sunday Stacks of INR 15 Lakhs GTD with a buy-in of INR 5,500. The last tournament of the series and the biggest one is the Sunday SLAM. It has a staggering guarantee of INR 30 Lakhs for a buy-in of INR 11,000. This will obviously attract the best of the bests in this game from across the country.

There are also satellites being hosted on 9stacks for the various HNY2019 tournaments. The buy-ins for the sattys range from INR 110 to INR 2,200. Additionally, players depositing INR 1.5 Lakhs or more on the site using the code ALL150K will receive three tickets – HR SLAM, PLO SLAM and Sunday SLAM, saving a total of INR 44,000 in buy-ins.

The leaderboard for the series also has huge prizes being given out to the top 25 places, with the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place cash prizes being INR 2 Lakhs, INR 1.25 lakhs and INR 1 Lakh respectively.
