Friday Round Up: Shravan Chhabria, Mohammad Azhar, ‘LACHANCE’ & ‘Khuranaji’ Won Titles In Poker Tournaments


The weekend is here and Friday was a phenomenal day for poker players. Several high guarantee tournaments took place and pro players like Sharavan Chhabria and Mohammad Azhar made headlines yesterday. Let’s do a recap of what happened on Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, and Adda52.

 Futuristic – 10 Lakh GTD

Futuristic tournament on Spartan Poker was a massive battlefield with 839 players sweating it out to make it to the top. The top 119 players in this INR 880 buy-in tournament were paid a min-cash of INR 2,298. The winner of this Futuristic tournament was ‘LACHANCE’ who cashed INR 1,67,806.

 The Elite 30 Lakh GTD

The Elite was the high value guarantee tournament that took place on Spartan Poker last night. There were several players who competed to take this prize pool home. The advertised guarantee was crushed and a prize pool of 33 Lakh was formed. The top 31 players in this tournament were paid a min-cash of INR 29,040. ‘Khuranaji’ won the Elite and added INR 6,31,474 to his bankroll.

Everyone loves the high rollers and especially if it is PokerBaazi’s ‘Weekly HighRoller,’ no player would want to miss it. This tournament had 140 entries in total and the top 18 players were paid a min-cash of INR 18,340. The prize pool of 12 Lakh was crushed and a 14 Lakh prize pool was formed. Mohammad Azhar aka ‘chandlerbing’ shipped this tournament and took home INR 3,60,000 in prize money.

Among the 367 entries in total, pro player Shravan Chhabria aka ‘sweatmyass13’ shipped the tournament and took a pay cheque of INR 6,28,488. The advertised guarantee was crushed and a bigger prize pool of INR 25,13,957 was formed.
