Poker Sports League Team Goan Nuts Is Ready To Play

Poker Sports League (PSL) is India’s first premier poker league and is the only sports format where teams consist of a mixture of professional and amateur poker players. The league is unique as it is open for anyone who has a basic knowledge of poker. Interested players can play a series of online games to qualify for a spot in one of the teams.

This time PSL, is back to kick off their season 3 in a virtual format – Poker Sports League Season 3 Virtual. Where every part of the league will now be online and will follow an online team-based format. A total of eight teams will now be competing for the huge prize pool of INR 1.8 Crore.

One of the best teams in the league, Goan Nuts, were champions of PSL season 2. Owned by Gaurav Mohan, this year the team consists of captain Dhaval Mudgal, poker pros Abhinav Iyer and Jai Saha, hashtag qualifiers Siddharth Karia and Radhika Shankar, wild card Laksh Pal Singh, and season 3 qualifiers Siddharth Mundada and Jaikiran Kumar. With a team of enthusiastic and passionate poker players, Goan Nuts maybe on its way for another win.

Gaurav Mohan is the man behind the successful Weddings by Eventwala. Well-known for his style, Mohan is also passionate about poker. Through Goan Nuts in the Poker Sports League, he attempts to change the perceptions about poker and establish it as sport of skill. Heading the team as captain is Dhaval Mudgal, who will be acting as a mentor for the players.

Among the professionals we have Abhinav Iyer, who made headlines this year when he became the third Indian to win a WSOP bracelet in July 2020 and Jai Saha. We can expect these poker pros to bring their A-game and expertise to the table. India’s poker mom Radhika Shankar and Siddharth Karia with their in-depth knowledge of the game will also be valuable addition to the already impressive team. Rounding off Goan Nuts are members Siddharth Mundada, Jaikiran Kumar, and Laksh Pal Singh, all of whom are ready to bring their best to the digital felts.
