Day 1 flights of the ongoing Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) April 2022 finally concluded and the survivors are now grinding in the Main Event at the Deltin Royale. Spartan Poker pro Nikita Luther is leading the pack of survivors as the game hit Day 2.
After three power-packed starting flights, the player field has now condensed down to the final 10 players. The play paused on level 27 (blinds 25K-50K and ante 50K) and will resume today at level 28 (blind 30K-60K and ante 60K). The Main Event winner gets to walk home with a top prize of ₹35.60 Lakh. Luther will lead the pack with a stack size of 32,40,000 chips at her disposal.
Luther is a well-known name in the poker circuit. The World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner will lead the pack with a stack size of 32,40,000 chips at her disposal. With a chip lead position and her poker expertise, Luther is sure to give her opponents a run for their money and dominate the table. It won’t be surprising to see Luther emerge as the DPT Main Event champion tonight.
Second to Luther is Kshitij Kucheria, with a stack of 26,35,000 chips. Kucheria also made it to two final tables in this edition of DPT. He cashed ₹5,03,500 for finishing third at the 11K Warm Up event and ₹1,11,000 for finishing sixth at the 15K Bounty event. Will his rage of making it to two FTs and closely missing the title spot drive him to clinch the ultimate Main Event title? We can only hope.
Final Table Series (FTS) 3.0 Main Event winner Ankit Wadhawan resumes Day 2 with a stack size of 20,65,000 chips. Wadhawan is also a popular name in the poker circuit with a good number of titles to his credit, making him one of the players to look out for.
Sitting with the fourth-highest stack is Sumit Lacchandani. There is no information available about this player making him one of the most unpredictable players at the event.
Alok Birewar with 18,40,000 chips is fifth highest in chip lead. Birewar is also a popular player who has several online titles to his credit including India Online Poker Championship (IOPC), Millionaire Series and WPT. Will Birewar clinch a DPT title? Let’s wait and watch.
Sandip Gupta is a lesser-known player in the circuit, making him a hard to gauge grinder. Gupta resumes Day 2 with 15,45,000 chips. Similarly, not much information is available on Neeraj S who will grind with a stack of 13,70,000 chips.
Mohit Bohra who is an online reg will play the Main Event Day 2 with 12,00,000 chips at his disposal. Will this online reg manage to have a live event title to his credit? Let’s wait and watch.
Aditya Singh is again an online grinder who has shipped notable IOPC titles among regular online tournament titles. Let’s see if Singh can ship this event and carve his name in poker history.
Sameer Agarwal sits with 8,15,000 chips. The only information we have about Agarwal is that he is an active online player, however, we do not know if he has cashed or shipped any tourneys. So let’s watch out for this one too.
