Nick Petrangelo Turns The Table To Win Stairway To Millions Event #7

Nick Petrangelo achieved an amazing feat by bouncing back and winning the seventh event of the ongoing Stairway To Millions series. Event #7: $50K NLH, which took place on Wednesday witnessed Petrangelo emerge victorious after bouncing back from just one big blind in hand. 

Soon after the registrations closed on Tuesday, Petrangelo was almost heading towards the rail. However, the Upswing Poker course instructor managed to spin the game around in his favor, and made it to the final table (FT) out of the 21 players.

On the final table, Ali Imsirovic, who has been enjoying an incredible year in poker, had a large chip lead over Petrangelo and Chris Brewer, who had the shortest stack. Petrangelo worked hard on his chip deficit and continued to dominate the final table.

Brewer departed at the third place for $168,000, and Petrangelo went on to beat the enviable Imsirovic in the heads-up game. Imsirovic walked away with $315,000 for his second-place finish.

1. Nick Petrangelo – $567,000
2. Ali Imsirovic – $315,000
3. Chris Brewer – $168,000

After reaching his third FT (event #7), Petrangelo made his way to event #8: $102,000 No-Limit Hold’em bagging the chip lead on Day 1 of the event. The final three, which include Sean Perry in second place and David Peters in third place, have made their way to the final table on Day 2 of this event. The winner of this event will take home $1,026,000.
