Nepal’s Tiger Palace unveils 3 VIP gaming rooms

Nepal’s Tiger Palace Casino, one of the country’s most luxurious resorts, was inaugurated back in January 2018, more than a year ago. The Palace is in Bhairahawa area of Nepal and is very close to the Indian border. This makes it an attractive venue for many Indian casino enthusiasts who are looking to indulge in the pastime.

According to some recent reports coming from Nepal, we have received information that the casino has unveiled 3 VIP gaming rooms. The Australia-listed Silver Heritage Group Ltd is the operator of Tiger Palace and it had recently announced that it would soon open premium mass and VIP gaming area to the Palace.

The unveiled gaming area covers 4,500 sq. feet (418 sq. meters) and includes a mix of 11 table games. It is expected to offer rolling chip play to customers who are directly managed by the house or are managed via agents.

The new gaming area in the casino has a lobby lounge, private dining facility, high-limit slots, secure access via the main casino floor and separate private access to VIP personnel. The launch of this gaming room was held on the day the casino completed its first anniversary.

Silver Heritage earlier operated the Phoenix International Club in Vietnam too, but was shut down due to a revised Investment Certificate that left it unable to offer table games. With closing down of its Vietnam operations, the group’s opening of gaming rooms in Nepal could possibly be a move to offset its losses in Vietnam. Silver Heritage also operates the Millionaire’s Club and Casino in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal.

Recently, Nepal has expressed to target casino fugitives by introducing new legislative measures that includes attaching fugitive casino operators’ properties. The draft was a part of the new Federal Tourism Bill but remains to be implemented yet.
