Nadeem Basha wins SuperStack on PPL Day 3!

There’s been so much of poker happening in this country, both online as well as live. Only good things seem to be coming ahead and for now, we have the INR 7+ Crore PokerBaazi Premier League (PPL) that’s underway online on PokerBaazi. So far, three days have concluded, and yesterday was the biggest day yet, with 2,600+ entries registering on the day. Take a look at our complete summary of PPL Day 3…

PPL Event #11 Flight 1A – The Endeavour INR 60 Lakh GTD

Multi-flight tournaments are becoming increasingly popular in online poker tournaments in India and here, 681 entries registered on Day 1A of Endeavour and from them, 66 survived the day to progress to Day 2. From them, the chip leader currently is ‘gandukepille’ who ended the day with 371,563 chips. The action continued later in the night on Day 1B.

PPL Event #12 BSS PLO INR 5 Lakh GTD

The weekly BSS PLO tournament took place and 236 entries took place, each paying the buy-in of INR 2,500. The guarantee was passed, and a new prize pool of INR 5.9 Lakh was created. By the end of the tournament, it was past IPC Main Event champion and online grinder Mukesh ‘Guruuu’ Surana, who ended victorious and won INR 1,38,827 for this effort.

PPL Event #13 BSS SuperStack INR 30 Lakh GTD

This is undoubtedly the most popular weekly tournament on PokerBaazi and once again, the guarantee was crushed with 738 entries taking part and driving the prize pool to INR 36,90,000. It was a very long grind which began last evening and ended in the early hours of today morning, with Nadeem Basha aka ‘SpadeHunter’ emerging victorious. Basha is a frequent live and online poker player and here, he shipped the tournament for a prize of INR 6,67,890.

PPL Event #14 BSS MegaStack INR 7 Lakh GTD

Here’s another tournament which is played every Sunday on PokerBaazi and it was no surprise that the guarantee was surpassed here too. 325 entries joined the tournament and the prize pool was inflated to INR 8,12,500. Eventually, it was Sam Anand aka ‘thereallokimon’ who took down the title and made himself richer by a healthy amount of INR 1,79,481.

PPL Event #15 Flight 1B – The Endeavour INR 60 Lakh GTD

After a successful opening flight, another 634 entries registered to the second starting flight of Endeavour, again paying INR 5,500 each to participate. This broke the overall guarantee of the tournament, taking the prize pool up to INR 67+ Lakh. From the field. 59 of them progress to Day 2 which will resume on 24th September 2019.
