Monday Round Up: Sandeep Thakral, Rohit Malhotra & Karan Malhotra Emerged Victorious

Monday night was a busy night for poker players as they stormed the online felts on Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, and Adda52. The action picked up pace quickly and many were fighting for their spot at the top. However, only a few emerged victorious. Here is the full report on the action that went down.

Iron Man – ₹8 Lakh GTD

Poker players on Adda52 were excited to play the Iron Man tournament on Monday night. There were a total of 369 entries and the buy-in for the event was ₹2,200. By the end of the tournament, the top 38 places were paid, and the min-cash stood at ₹4,800.

Sandeep Thakral aka ‘thak’ shipped the tournament and took home a prize money of ₹2,00,000. While player Karan Radia aka ‘Reg_Slayer’ finished as the runner up with ₹1,21,200 as his reward.

The Big Show – ₹7.5 Lakh GTD

The Big Show on PokerBaazi was a hit with a total of 375 entries participating in the event. The buy-in was ₹2,750 for the event. The advertised guarantee was crushed, and the final prize pool was ₹9,38,000. A piece of this prize pool was distributed to the top 45 places. The min-cash stood at ₹5,250.

Player Rohit Malhotra aka ‘mrblue1205’ clinched the title and added ₹1,97,000 to his bankroll. The runner up was Jasven Saigal aka ‘JasvenSaigal’ who walked away with a prize money of ₹1,38,000.

ReCharge – ₹8 Lakh GTD

Spartan Poker had an intense Monday night with its ReCharge tournament taking the lead. The ₹2,200 buy-in event welcomed a total of 411 entries. The prize pool was distributed among the top 39 places. The min-cash for the event was ₹5,671.

Karan Malhotra aka ‘Karangogi’ shipped the tournament after a spectacular showdown with Sachin Sharma aka ‘durrred.’ Both had a three of a kind (TTT) but it was Malhotra who took the pot due to a kicker. He won ₹1,64,811 in prize money while Sharma was the runner up for ₹1,09,572.
