Monday Round Up: Mohit Mehta Continues His Winning Spree On PokerBaazi


As the Final Table Series (FTS) 3.0 ended, the action on other platforms did not stop. The online felts of Adda52, Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi and PokerStars continued to buzz with top players grinding on the platforms. Let’s have a look at all the action of the night:

ReCharge – ₹8 Lakh GTD

Spartan Poker’s ReCharge made a comeback last night attracting top players flocked to it’s virtual felts. The initial guarantee at this tourney was surpassed by a slim margin as the final prize pool stood at ₹8,56,000. 428 entries participated in this tourney out of which the top 39 places made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹5,906 was recorded at this tourney.

IOPC reg ‘TheRealG’ shipped this tourney for ₹1,33,602 whereas IOPC July 2021 The Crown Main Event winner Vaibhav Temani aka ‘AllinPavBhaji’ finished second for ₹1,22,949.

Other players who made in the money at this tourney included The Big Show winner Mohit Mehta (5th, ₹52,815), IOPC Blaze of Glory winner Harshad Barve (8th, ₹21,571), Siddharth Gangwar (10th, ₹14,980), Siddharth Kripalani (17th, ₹10,528), IOPC Legends runner-up Arsh Grover (18th, ₹9,244), Ashvin Rao (25th, ₹7,532) and FTS 3.0 reg Arunkumar Singh (38th, ₹5,906).

Players who busted without making any money included Ankit Bajaj (47th), Sagar Choudhury (54th), Vinay B (96th) and Debneil Mukherjee (109th).

Adda52’s Iron Man was a power-packed tourney. It witnessed 355 entries battling it out for the top spots. The top 38 places made in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹4,800. 

Anonymous player ‘bubba88’ nailed this tourney for ₹2,00,000, while ‘Betoo’ finished at the runner-up spot for ₹1,21,200.

Akansha Sehgal (5th, ₹43,200), IOPC July 2021 Legends runner-up Arsh Grover (9th, ₹16,000), Sunday Showdown runner-up Rohan George (11th, ₹12,000), Aditya Singh (14th, ₹8,800) and Anmol Mehta (32nd, ₹4,800) among others made in the money at this tourney.

The Big Show – ₹7.5 Lakh GTD

The Big Show on PokerBaazi was a grand affair too. Out of the total 237 entries at this tourney, the top 27 places made in the money. The min-cash at this tourney stood at ₹6,225.

FTS 3.0 Haider Madraswala Leads The Final Table Of Friday Special

Online reg Mohit Mehta aka ‘thejoker,’ who shipped the BSS Superstack on Sunday, clinched his second consecutive title on PokerBaazi by nailing The Big Show last night. He added ₹1,30,000 to his bankroll by nailing this tourney. At the runner-up spot was Atul Khurana aka ‘atulkhurana,’ who had a pay day of ₹1,10,000.

Aditya Singh (16th, ₹9,000) also made it in money at this tourney. Neeraj Kumar aka ‘SelfClaimedPro’ bubbled at this tourney (28th). Players who couldn’t make it in money included Vivekk Dube (34th), Sagar Choudhury (49th) and Karan Malhotra (119th) among others.

The final table (FT) of the FTS 3.0 Main Event also took place on Spartan Poker yesterday. The thrilling FT saw pro player Ankit Wadhawan, have a truly remarkable run.
