Monday Round Up: Manish Lakhotia Emerged Victorious As He Nailed PokerStars Battle Royale


Spartan Poker, Adda52, PokerStars and PokerBaazi hosted their staple tournaments yesterday. Yesterday’s events saw several mystery players grab top spots. Manish Lakhotia fired four bullets to clinch the Battle Royale title. Keep reading further to know more about the action that went down on poker platforms yesterday. 

Iron Man – ₹8 Lakh GTD 

The Iron Man tournament on Adda52 was shipped by a mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘fylperus.’ This player took home a pay cheque of ₹2,17,560. The runner-up was ‘Pushp14480’ who had a payday of ₹1,28,760. The event had 444 entries in total. The top 49 players made it in the money in this ₹2,200 buy-in event. A min-cash of ₹4,884 was paid.

The Big Show – ₹7.5 Lakh GTD

The runner-up was Pavankumar Meena aka ‘ghatak007’ who thickened his bankroll by  ₹1,27,000. The tournament had 345 entries in total. The top 45 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹4,830 was paid in this ₹2,750 buy-in event. The advertised guarantee of this tournament was crushed and the final prize pool stood at ₹8,63,000.

The event was a deal between an anonymous player ‘golddigger1905’ and Anmolraj Singh Chawla aka ‘Bigboy larry barese.’ The anonymous player cashed ₹1,33,791 while Chawla took home ₹1,33,248 in prize money.

Battle Royale – ₹5 Lakh GTD 

The Battle Royale tournament on PokerStars was a deal between Manish Lakhotia aka ‘theoldestkid’ and mystery player ‘RAV1619.’ Lakhotia fired four bullets to clinch the top position. Both the players thickened their bankrolls by ₹48,572 in prize money. Lakhotia took home ₹62,102 in bounty money while the anonymous player only cashed ₹3,474 in bounty money. The ₹2,350 buy-in tournament had 204 entries in total. The top 23 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹3,996 was paid.
