Monday Round Up: Abhimanyu Mittal Becomes The Biggest Winner Of The Night


Monday night on the online poker felts was an intense one. Top players, as well as amateurs from across the country, were seen grinding hard for the top spots. Among those who shipped tourneys were Abhimanyu Mittal, Suraj Yadav, Kuldeep Jorwal and Aditya Singh. Let’s have a quick recap of the night.

The second day of Adda52‘s DOPT witnessed several players battling it out. Out of the 429 entries only the top 63 places made it in the money. The initial guarantee was surpassed by a slim margin and the final prize pool stood at ₹15,00,010. The min-cash stood at ₹7,579. Abhimanyu Mittal aka ‘PsychoDrama’ shipped the tourney for ₹2,71,922. Runner-up ‘pratap2904’ bagged ₹1,99,318.

PokerBaazi’s The Big Show was an action-packed affair. 329 players were seen battling it out for the top spots. The tourney crushed its advertised guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹8,23,000. The top 36 places were paid and the min-cash stood at ₹5,593.

Kuldeep Jorwal aka ‘Bacchapro’ topped the table and added ₹1,82,000 to his bankroll. Kovid Saraswat aka ‘fzzzyyy’ finished second for ₹1,27,000.

Sahil Mahboobani (13th, ₹10,860), Mohit Mehta (26th, ₹6,415), Siddhanth Kripalani (31st, ₹5,593) and DOPT 6 Max Monday Feature winner Abhimanyu Mittal (34th, ₹5,593) were some of the players who finished in the money. Players like Ashish Ahuja (45th), Ritwik Khanna (55th), Tanmay Benara (67th), Aditya Singh (70th), Gutshot’s September e-magazine cover star Ankit Wadhawan (72nd) and Vinay Rajpal (91st) left this tourney empty-handed.

DOPT 6 Max Monday Feature winner Abhimanyu Mittal (45th), Sahil Mahboobani (59th), Siddharth Karia (62nd), FTS 3.0 reg Arunkumar Singh (66th), Myron Periera (73rd), Arjanveer Singh Chadha  (82nd), Ankit Bajaj (86th), Aditya Singh (94th) and Mohit Mehta (98th) busted without any money.
