The India Poker Championship (IPC) Megastacks May 2022 is going full steam in Hotel Mechi Crown in Jhapa, Nepal. The much awaited 25K Kick-Off event finally has a title winner in Mahesh Shyamsundar. The event was a long and hard grind and finally two players were battling it out for the winner’s title and the prestigious trophy. It was Shyamsundar who grabbed the winning title and trophy after putting up a good fight against Sameer Agarwal. The latter played impressively and finished second in the tournament for ₹9,87,442.
The winner grabbed ₹8,15,579; Kanishka Samant took the third spot for ₹6,74,788 while Harsh Bubna finished 4th for ₹7,19,791. Online reg Arjanveer Singh Chadha took the 5th spot for ₹2,72,000. Vatsal Kumar who once took the chip lead during the tournament finished 6th for ₹2,25,400. Samay Singh Modi who grabbed a whole lot of chips from Siddhanth Kripalani (Day 1 chip lead), exited at the 7th spot for ₹1,92,100. Lawyer turned poker pro Ashish Ahuja finished 8th for ₹1,63,900.
Talking about the 25K Kick-Off event, many well-known faces like Spartan Pro Nikita Luther, Adda52 Game Ambassador Kunal Patni, Siddarth Singhvi, MPL Poker Pro Dhaval Mudgal, World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner Aditya Sushant, Harsh Dembla, IOPC January 2021 winner Laksh Pal Singh, Siddhanth Kripalani, FTS 3.0 High Roller winner Vivek Singh among others showed up for the tournament in a bid to clinch the top spot. After locking horns for hours at stretch we finally have a new winner.
