The tournament had 808 entries in total, and only the top 59 players have survived. A prize pool of €1,189,780 is on the table. Besides taking a slice from the colossal prize pool, the top 12 players will receive an entry into the 2022 WSOP Europe €10,300 ME.
Dutch player Selvakumaran had an impressive run, especially during the second half of the day, and became responsible for bursting the money bubble. Enrico Campanile, was the bubble boy in this game. Ronnie Lemmens had the second largest chip stack (1,912,000). Following Lemmens was Simone Andrian, with a chip stack of 1,703,000. Andrian previously won his maiden WSOP gold bracelet in the 2021 WSOPE festival hosted at Kings Resort in Rozvadov.
Other notable players in the top 10 are Matteo Cirillo, Cecil Moagi, Albert Hoekendijk, Ioannis Chaitas, Matteo Calzoni, Simone Miracoli, and Gertjan Albers. Along with this, four WSOP bracelet winners will be competing for the 2022 WSOPC ME title, including Andrian, Alessandro Pichierri, Serigiu Covrig, and Dalibor Dula. All the 59 survivors of the event have locked a slice of €3,730 for themselves. A pay jump will possibly come on the 55th spot.
