Every year, players from all over the world head to Las Vegas to play at the World Series of Poker (WSOP). This prestigious event is one of the biggest poker events in the world. The WSOP bracelet is a prize given to players who have shipped the WSOP events along with the lucrative prize money. The number of WSOP bracelets a player has won is seen as proof of his/her brilliance at the game.
Anthony Zinno is an American poker player from Cranston, Rhode Island and is one of the few players who has four WSOP bracelets to his credit. Before becoming a professional poker player, Zinno earned a chemical engineering degree from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute and even graduated from Suffolk University Law School in Boston. As per Hendon Mob, Zinno recorded his first live tournament cash in March 2007 when he came 46th for $774 in the Foxwoods Poker Classic, Modified Shoot-Out event.
Zinno’s first WSOP cash was in July 2008 when he finished in 205th for $38,600 at the $10,000 World Championship No Limit Hold’em. However, it was after seven years that he grabbed his first WSOP bracelet in 2015. It was in the 2015 WSOP $25,000 High Roller Pot Limit Omaha event for $1,122,196. It was also in the same year when he made it to the final table of five WSOP events. Four years after this in 2019, Zinno won his 2nd WSOP bracelet in the $1,500 Pot-Limit Hi-Lo 8 or Better event for $279,920. He cashed nine times in the 2019 WSOP and made it to three final tables.
He clinched his third and fourth bracelet in 2021 WSOP when he shipped the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship for $182,872 and $1,500 H.O.R.S.E for $160,636 respectively. The fact that Zinno has managed to ship bracelet events in different poker variants shows that he is well-versed in more than just one poker variant. In the 2019 WSOP Europe he finished in 3rd at the €10,350 Main Event for €485,291.

Apart from his many WSOP wins, Zinno has also shipped three World Poker Tour (WPT) titles! His first WPT title came when he defeated Vanessa Selbst at the Borgata Poker Open and won $825,099 in September 2013. The next two WPT titles came in 2015 after he shipped the Fallsview Poker Classic for $302,235 and L.A Poker Classic for $1,015,860. After he achieved this feat, he became the third player after Gus Hansen and Carlos Mortensen to take home three WPT titles. In the same year, he was named as the WPT Season XIII Player of the Year.
