LBS Day 3: ‘nikcy021’ wins Warm-Up

The Little Big Series (LBS) at The Spartan Poker is a favourite especially amongst small ball players who enjoy this series where the buy-ins are small yet there are opportunities to win a big payout. The series which takes place from 24-27 May has a total of 18 events on schedule with a wide range of buy-ins and guarantees. There is also the LBS leaderboard in play for players to collect points and win some exciting prizes like cash chips and tickets to high-value tournaments like The Millionaire and 2.o.K (Two of a Kind).

 

Let’s take a quick look at Day 3 of LBS:-

 

LBS #9 INR 110 (65K GTD) (R+A)

 

The third day began with the re-buy + add-on tournament with 717 entries to make a prizepool of INR 71,700. The prizepool was distributed to top 31 places with a min-cash of INR 631. Coming on top it was ‘shiv1995’ who claimed the Event #9 for INR 15,165. ‘shiv1995’ defeated ‘Drogba420’ in the heads-up battle who took home INR 10,210.

 

LBS #10 INR 330 (50K GTD) PKO-RE (100 per Bounty)

 

The Progressive Knockout tournament a.k.a Bounty event saw a participation of 152 entries. ‘Krazy8’ outlasted these entries to take the first place prize of INR 10,575. The winner ‘Krazy8’ eliminated ‘bajajinga’ in the second place for INR 7,120.

 

LBS #11 INR 330 (55K GTD) (FO)

 

‘Pogback’ topped a field of 181 entries in this freezeout tournament for INR 12,183. ‘Pogback’ outlasted ‘REDAPPLE’ in the heads-up battle who took home INR 8,223 for the second place finish.

 

LBS #12 INR 550 Warm-Up (200K GTD) (RE)

 

‘nicky021’ emerged victorious in the second big event of the series for INR 46,216. While Warm-Up drew 461 entries to create a prizepool of INR 2,30,500. The prizepool was collected by top 39 places with a min-cash of INR 1,590. ‘nicky021’ outlasted ‘Thakur88’ in the heads-up battle who collected INR 30,726 for the second place finish.
