April is considered to be a slow month, but casinos in Las Vegas have already rolled out an impressive selection of poker tournaments. The Venetian and Wynn casinos have been running their respective series, and the PokerGo studios at the ARIA have popular names grinding in highroller events. March is packed with many live events, and April won’t be any different, probably more intense. Some of the highlights include the back-to-back seniors’ events which is scheduled for 6-7 April, a ladies’ event from Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS) that runs from 19-24 April.
The Deep Stacks Extravaganza for the year will be running from 20th March to 1st May. The Venetian has more than three million in guarantees, several PLO events, and much more.
The Wynn is offering more than 1.5 million in guarantees and is continuing with the trend of the April Signature series. The mystery bounty event hosted at the Wynn has always been a favourite among poker players and the $600 version with a $400,000 in guarantee is expected to attract a massive field. On 6th – 7th April a similar Senior event will be hosted at the Venetian.
Over five days in April from 19th to 24th, there will be events worth $800,000 in guarantees, single table satellites, and a mixed game event. There will also be a Purple Tie Guy Salute event which can be attended by men as well.
PokerGo at the ARIA is known to host several highroller events. PokerGo will have several tournaments coming up and players can look forward to several highrollers, a big heads-up event, a Pro-Am event among others.
