Karan Radia, Armaan Kochhar And Others Impressively Win Titles


If you thought the (IOPC) is going on and poker players might be busy grinding in this poker festival and forget about tournaments on other platforms then hey, that’s wrong. Karan Radia, and Armaan Kochhar have been crushing it at the IOPC and also clinching titles in events that are hosted on other poker rooms. Here’s a quick recap of how these players slayed the online felts last night. 

Godfather – ₹25 Lakh GTD

Adda52’s prestigious Godfather tournament had 532 entries in total. The top 55 players made it in the money in this ₹5,500 buy-in event. A min-cash of ₹11,970 was paid. The event was shipped by Sagar Choudhury aka ‘alwaysnutz’ who received a pay cheque of ₹5,60,344. The runner-up was a mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘Mrscaryking’ who took home ₹4,50,456. This tournament had several well-known players such as Abhimanyu Mittal (9th, ₹39,900) , Goonjan Mall (10th, ₹33,250), Aditya Singh (12th, ₹26,600), Sahil Mahboobani (21st, ₹19,950), Ritwik Khanna (25th, ₹17,290) among others.

The Summit – ₹15 Lakh GTD 

PokerBaazi’s Summit had 319 entries in total. The top 36 players made it in the money in this ₹8,250 buy-in event. A min-cash of ₹16,270 was paid. The advertised guarantee of this event was crushed impressively and the final prize pool came up to ₹23,93,000. This event was conquered by online reg Armaan Kochhar aka ‘Armaan007’ who cashed ₹5,29,000 in prize money. The runner-up was yet another well-known player, Sanat Mehrotra aka ‘mehro2511’ who took home ₹3,71,000 in prize money.

PokerStars is known for hosting highrollers quite frequently. This ₹7,700 buy-in event was hosted yesterday and had 185 entries in total. The top 23 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹15,683 was paid. The advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹12,95,000. The tournament was shipped by a mystery player called ‘Monkey D. Wolfy’ who had a payday of ₹2,56,900. The runner-up was Karan Radia aka ‘The Annihilator’ who took home ₹1,98,485 in prize money.
