Juan Pardo wins €25k and €50k EPT Barcelona High Rollers

The European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona is a prestigious jewel crown that concluded its 25k Single-Day High Roller followed by the €50k HR as well. Juan Pardo remained undefeated in these back to back tournaments, pocketing €1,013,860 in the latest 50k High Roller, a massive win against global pro poker players.

In the first Single-Day High Roller, Pardo defeated FC Barcelona star defender Gerard Pique heads-up and took home €491,600 (~$546,708) after managing to knock out 7 finalists on the FT. Now with live earnings of $3+ million, Pardo first recorded a live tournament cash in 2016. Here, his second consecutive victory saw him acquiring the largest cash of his entire career so far.

Seth Davies took home €720,760 after being defeated by the Spaniard in the €50,000 Single Day High Roller, followed by Chin Wei Lim who finished off in the third place after coming second in the €25k 6+ Hold’em High Roller just a day earlier.

Lim was eliminated by Pardo which brought the game to heads-up. In this high-stakes tournament, the final 10 players resumed on the final day at Casino Barcelona until a winner was announced.
