Jeremy Ausmus earned his first PGT win of the 2024 season when he topped the field in Event #7: $15,100 Pot-Limit Omaha at the PGT PLO Series. Ausmus fought through a lengthy heads-up battle against Gruffudd Pugh-Jones but ultimately got the job done for the $288,000 score.
It was Ausmus’ 25th cash of the PGT season, and he stretched out his lead even further atop the season-long leaderboard. Despite all of his success this PGT season, Ausmus was still void of a victory until today, but he finally ended a 684-day drought on the PGT. The event had sixty-four entries, and the prize pool was $960,000.

Jeremy Ausmus also put himself into contention for the PGT PLO Series leaderboard race, where he now sits second with 420 points and is behind only Matthew Wantman, who has 439 points.

The points table seems totally stacked, but the upcoming events might just about change the ranking. The upcoming event on PokerGo is the $5,100 Pot Limit Omaha Bounty on 22nd October 2024.
Ausmus is one of the most popular players on the planet and has also raked in riches during his time in poker. According to Hendon Mob, he is the 40th on the all-time money list. The seven-time WSOP Bracelet winner had his best live cash in 2012 at the WSOP $10,000 Event 61 when he stood 5th and took home $2,155,313. His play at the felts proves just why he is one of the most successful and popular poker players in the world.

2024 has been a good year for Ausmus, and he has seen several cashouts, including at WSOP 2024. On 19th October, he stood 4th rank at Event #6, Pot Limit Omaha, at the PokerGO Tour – 2024 PGT PLO Series II, Las Vegas, taking home $93,600. In September, he stood 2nd at Event #3 of PokerGO Tour – PGT 2024 Poker Masters, Las Vegas, taking home $155,000.
At the Super High Roller Series in Kyrenia, he stood 3rd, this time adding $ 1,200,000 to his kitty. These are just some of his cash-outs this year. He took part in some bracelet events this year, and while he was among the top 10 winners on the list, he hasn’t snagged one yet.
Coming back to the PokerGo tour, different series are lined up until 25th November, and they include multiple Super High Roller and High Roller events. It remains to be seen who else takes the mantle of champions and how many other players see cash at the tournament.
