Jeff Gross joins poker forum CardsChat as ambassador

Online forums come and go, but when it comes to CardsChat, the website has grown since its inception in 2004. They got their first user back then and very recently, they reached the milestone of 250,000 registered members. Now, with a huge increase in traffic on the website, the company called on its ambassador and WSOP bracelet winner, Ryan LaPlante, to help with the forums and assist players with their games.

Now, they’ve gone ahead to sign on another poker pro as an ambassador in Jeff Gross – a 32-year old well-known name in live as well as online poker. Gross has over $3 million in live poker cashes including his highest cash prize of $414,770 that he earned for finishing 3rd in the 2013 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open.

Gross is a PokerStars Team Pro and also a regular Twitch streamer with over 300 videos uploaded. Now, he’s going to bring all this experience to CardsChat, which is an online poker forum and news website. To begin with CardsChat, Gross started an AMA thread to answers questions from members of the forum.

Some fun facts about Gross are that he got introduced to poker during a soccer camp and it wasn’t too long before he got hooked onto the game. He found a good way to make money while also playing soccer. Another fact about the poker pro is that his best friend and roommate after college was none other than Olympic swimming champion, Michael Phelps!
