IPC Main Event Day 1A Sees Top Pros Grinding Hard

India Poker Championship (IPC) Megastacks May 2022 is running full steam at Casino Vegas in Jhapa, Nepal. Like any other mega series, the Main Event (ME) of this poker event is also among the most awaited tournaments in the country. Day 1A of the IPC Megastacks May 2022 ME was an intense one. The day saw top pros grinding hard to make it to Day 2 of the coveted event. The starting flight 1A had 174 entries, and only 53 survivors will now head to Day 2 of the prestigious IPC Megastacks May 2022 Main Event.

Some well-known names from the poker fraternity who were seen grinding in Day 1A include names like IOPC January 2021 Main Event champ Laksh Pal Singh, FTS 3.0 High Roller winner Vivek Singh, Siddhanth Kripalani, Niharika Bindra, Gokul Raj, IOPC July 2021 Blaze of Glory champion Harshad Barve, online reg Vishal Ojha, IOPC January 2022 ME winner Amit Gehani, Abhijeet Kumar, Gagandeep Malik, Sanat Mehrotra, IOPC January 2022 Blaze of Glory winner Kanchan Sharma, Gutshot sponsored pros Anant Purohit and Dhirendra Kumar, Arjanveer Singh Chadha, World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner Aditya Sushant, IPC Megastacks May 2022 Kick-Off winner Mahesh Shyamsundar, Saransh Garg among others participated in the Day 1A of the prestigious ME.

Day 1A began at 5 PM on 20th May and saw players coming out to participate in full swing. For the unversed, Day 1B will kick-start on 21st May at 4 PM. The ₹60,000 buy-in tournament gave a starting stack of 40,000 chips to its participants. The registration ended at Level 15 and those who survived the bloodbath on Day 1A will progress onto Day 2 of the ME which will commence on 22nd May at 1 PM.
