India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) July 2021 leaderboard was nailed by Anuj Yadav aka ‘titooTauji’ who did not allow two-time IOPC leaderboard champion, Bhanu Prakash, aka ‘spectre’ to get a hattrick. This win was the final culmination of Yadav’s brilliant and ceaseless performance at IOPC July 2021.
Not only did Yadav top the leaderboard but also managed to ship various IOPC tournaments like the IOPC All Rounder (SnG) on day 22, All Rounder on day 20, Friday Prime on day 13 among others. He also made it to the final table of the IOPC Highroller for ₹14,87,582 in 3rd place and the IOPC Main Event The Crown wherein he busted at the 3rd spot for ₹20,99,782.
However, this was not his biggest cash in the tournament series. This poker dynamo played consistently throughout and grabbed the numero uno spot on the IOPC July 2021 leaderboard for a whopping ₹30,00,000. This remarkable feat was achieved by pure dedication and hard work.
Until his final payout at The Crown tournament, Yadav had 19,249 leaderboard points. Which was 2,144 points ahead of Prakash who had 17,105 points by the end of IOPC day 22. While he still had the lead, Yadav further secured his standing at the top of the leaderboard when he scored 665 points for this third place finish at The Crown Main Event. This brought his final score to 19,914.
Over the course of IOPC, Yadav earned a lot of accolades for his consistency from commentators and his fellow players. Adda52 game ambassador Kunal Patni also commented about Yadav’s IOPC run on The Crown Final Table live-stream stating, “Not that he (Yadav) needs anything more after a stupendous IOPC, but what a comeback for him after a break. Mad respect!”
His tussle with Bhanu Prakash and ultimate victory on the leaderboard is surely an awe-inspiring story for many generations of poker players to come. With the 11th edition of IOPC finally coming to an end, we expect to see more of Anuj Yadav in the ongoing Asia Poker Tour (APT) on PokerBaazi and World Poker Tour (WPT) on Adda52. Also, don’t forget to watch the live-stream of the Masters Table on 4 August.
