As the 12th edition of the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) continues to run full steam, Day 6 which took place yesterday was also loaded with action. Well-known players like Neel Joshi and Arun Sriram nailed top titles while mystery player ‘NoConnection’ became the biggest winner of the night. Let’s do a quick recap of last night.
IOPC #33 was the first tournament of Day 6. It surpassed the initial guarantee by a slim margin as the final prize pool stood at ₹5,34,000. The top 71 places out of the 890 entries made it in the money as the min-cash stood at ₹2,029.
Mystery players ‘Tkolte’ and ‘SMRV123456’ finished at the first and second spot for ₹95,024 and ₹72,972 respectively.
IOPC #34 was a progressive knockout (PKO) event, which witnessed a player field of 526 entries. The final prize pool surpassed the initial guarantee and stood at ₹7,89,000. The top 39 places finished in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹4,536.
Mayank Maruka aka ‘barrelbrat’ topped the table and added ₹1,31,829 to his bankroll. Prabhas Sharma aka ‘Baba_Tufaani’ finished second for ₹87,645.
IOPC #35 was a 4 cards Pot Limit Omaha event which crushed the advertised guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹5,63,200. The top 47 places out of the 704 entries made it in the money, and the min-cash stood at 3,210.
Mystery player ‘Eggfrycurry’ nailed the event for ₹1,09,768. At the runner-up spot, Nitin Rawat aka ‘NITINABD’ cashed ₹69,724 in prize money.
IOPC #36 Tuesday Prime was the biggest event last night. The event crushed its advertised guarantee to generate an impressive ₹40,41,000 as the final prize pool. The top 119 places out of the strong 1,347 entries enjoyed a portion of the prize pool; the min-cash stood at ₹9,092.
Mystery player ‘NoConnection’ shipped the tourney for ₹6,55,347. Deep Patel aka ‘patelbhai789’ took the runner-up spot for ₹5,69,076.
This event was an action-packed tourney that crushed its initial guarantee to record a final prize pool of ₹19,96,000. The event witnessed a competitive player field of 998. The top 87 places finished in the money. The min-cash at this tourney stood at ₹6,187.
Arun Sriram aka ‘vazharmorghulis’ shipped this event and laughed his way to the bank for ₹3,82,234. Ashish Ahuja aka ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ finished at the runner-up spot for ₹2,37,923.
This event was a progressive knockout (PKO) tournament that had top players grinding hard for the winning title. The top 55 places out of the 693 entries made it in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹6,112. The final prize pool surpassed the initial guarantee and stood at ₹13,86,000.
Popular poker player Neel Joshi aka ‘Worm33’ nailed this tourney and added ₹2,41,996 to his bankroll. Online reg Aman Parakh aka ‘KarmaPoker’ finished at the runner-up spot for ₹1,53,430.
