As the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) nears its conclusion, the action got intense on Day 15. With the ₹1.3 crore Super Highroller scheduled yesterday, the day was bound to bring some nail-biting action and big cashes. Let’s have a look at what went down yesterday.
IOPC #89 was the first tourney of Day 15. It surpassed the advertised guarantee to record a final prize pool of ₹4,57,800. The top 63 places from the 763 entries finished in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹1,991.
Naved Ahmed Naushad Shaikh aka ‘zenaved11’ topped the table and pocketed ₹88,584 in winnings. Madhab Pal aka ‘madhabpal2017’ finished second for ₹55,852.
IOPC #90 witnessed an entry field of 558 entries. The final prize pool stood at ₹5,58,000, and the min-cash stood at ₹3,850. The top 39 places made it in the money.
IOPC reg Arjanveer Singh Chadha aka ‘bazzingaa’ shipped the event and added ₹99,380 to his bankroll. Mystery player ‘Zadian’ finished second for ₹86,880.
This event surpassed the initial guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹5,56,800. The min-cash stood at ₹2,422. The event witnessed the top 63 places out of the 696 entries finishing in the money.
Navaneesha P aka ‘np406’ nailed this tourney for ₹92,260. Mystery player ‘elbedonk’ took home ₹83,410 for the runner-up finish.

IOPC Thursday Prime was an action-packed tourney with a final prize pool of ₹36,44,000 surpassing its initial guarantee. A strong player field of 911 entries battled it out for the top spot. The top 79 places finished in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹12,389.
Harsh Dembla aka ‘aaja maal phuka’ topped the table and walked away with ₹6,99,284. Sanket Arora aka ‘GentleMonster’ finished second for ₹4,38,738.
The biggest tourney of the night promised some unmatched poker action and drama. The initial guarantee was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at a colossal figure of ₹1.52 crore. The top 17 places out of the 152 entries at this massive ₹1.05 Lakh buy-in event enjoyed a portion of the prize pool. The min-cash stood at ₹2,38,640.
Akshay Kapoor aka ‘AustralianAccountant’ and Shashank Shekhar aka ‘Goldfish097’ ended the tourney in a deal. While Kapoor laughed his way to the bank for ₹33,52,434, Shekhar walked home with a paycheque of ₹30,55,886.
IOPC #94 Thursday Spotlight witnessed 714 entries battling it out for the title spot. The final prize pool of ₹21,42,000 surpassed the original guarantee. The top 63 places made it in the money; the min-cash stood at ₹9,317.
Arun Sriram aka ‘vazharmorghulis’ nailed the tourney for ₹3,45,008. At the runner-up spot, Sunil Arora aka ‘bababk’ walked away with ₹3,30,793.
This event was the last tourney of Day 15. Out of the 606 entries, the top 55 places finished in the money. The initial guarantee was surpassed by a slim margin. The final prize pool stood at ₹12,12,000; the min-cash stood at ₹5,938.
Anirudh Reddy aka ‘flash’ clinched the title and added ₹2,35,128 to his bankroll. Online reg Aman Parakh aka ‘KarmaPoker’ finished second for ₹1,49,076.
