Indian Players Arrive In Time For APT Phu Quoc 2023

The Asian Poker Tour (APT) is back for its second edition of the year in Phu Quoc island of Vietnam. The series is all set to kick-start on 24th March 2023 and will continue until 2nd April 2023 at the Corona Resort & Casino.

With a sparkling line-up of 44 events on the schedule, the APT Phu Quoc 2023 promises to be a blockbuster. Amidst much fanfare and anticipation, several players from across the globe have touched down in Phu Quoc to grind and make a mark in this series. Several Indian players have also arrived in the island city to grind and make a splash. 

As per the latest updates, poker pros Alok Birewar, Jasven Saigal, Siddharth Karia, Shardul Partharathi, Vikhyat Ahlawat and Ritwik Khanna have arrived in Phu Quoc to make India proud at the series.

The players shared the updates on their Instagram stories. Jasven Saigal shared a picture of the famous Phu Quoc coffee as he wrote, “Welcome to Vietnam, 2nd home, APT Phu Quoc OKOK” (sic.)

Karia also shared a similar picture with the text “GG Cambodia. Touch down Vietnam for APT Phu Quoc.” He also shared a breathtaking view from his hotel. 

Gamezy Poker pro Nishant Sharma also shared a picture of Phu Quoc city. 

Parthasarathi also shared the view from his room at the Raddison Blu Resort, Phu Quoc.

Indian pros were recently seen grinding at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Cambodia 2023 in Phnom Penh. Here India topped the title tally by clinching four events at the series, which was the most by any country. Alok Birewar, Deepankur Gupta, Shardul Parthasarathi and Mahesh Shyamsundar were the four players who claimed titles at this series. 

The first season of APT in 2023 was held in February between 3rd February to 12th February 2023 at the VSOP Club in Hanoi, Vietnam. APT Phu Quoc 2023 is the second season of the series of the year. Know more about this edition here.
