Huynh Ngoc Cuong Ships APL Hanoi 2021 Main Event Tournament & Cashed VND 1,00,35,00,000

Asia Poker League (APL) Hanoi 2021 was one of the highly anticipated live events of the year. This APL Hanoi tournament kicked-off on 3 April and ran till 10 April. This is one of the first poker series to take place in a live set-up and APL Hanoi 2021 was conducted at the Grand Vista Hotel in Vietnam. APL had partnered with the prestigious Vietnam Series of Poker (VSOP) and Grand Loyal Club to make the event a highly successful one.

Hanoi was bustling with action as several Asian poker pros were grinding for hours at a stretch. One of the highly anticipated tournament of the APL Hanoi April 2021 tournament series was ‘Main Event,’ a VND 4,15,00,00,000 event. This was a single day tournament and it was a tough battle to get the top spot. Despite all odds, Huynh Ngoc Cuong played one of his best games and lifted the title.

This Closer tournament was shipped by Huynh Ngoc Cuong who won VND 1,00,35,00,000 in prize money. The first and second runner-ups were Nguyen Hoang Anh and Nguyen Van Sang. They won VND 64,00,00,000 and 38,00,00,000 respectively.

The payouts for the top players were extremely distinguished. Yoshihito surely had a great hand as he bagged almost double the amount in prize money. There were a total of 415 entries in this tournament.  The top 42 spots of The Closer tournament were paid a min-cash.

Though the tournament ended, one can only wait for it to return at the earliest next year. The legacy of APL will continue and Asian players who missed out on this event can surely try their hand next year. Players always look forward to poker fests that APL hosts as it ends up being a perfect opportunity for the players to grind and earn big money.
