Heading For DPT Nov 2022? Abhishek Goindi Has A Message!

It’s almost time for the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) and pros along with recreational players from across the country are preparing long and hard for this series. DPT Nov 2022 edition will be held from 8th to 14th Nov at Deltin Royale. We spoke to Adda52 Game Ambassador Kunal Patni about the upcoming event and he shared some key insights with us. This time around we got in touch with former DPT 65K High Roller winner Abhishek Goindi. The February 2019 edition of the live series saw this poker pro and coach stifle competition and win the prestigious High Roller event for ₹14.50 Lakh. For the unversed, Goindi was among the player field of 86 entries who paid a buy-in of 65K to enter the tourney and defeated some well-known players from the circuit to grab the top spot.

A post shared by Abhishek Goindi (@asgoindi)

We asked the Poker Boot Camp India (PBCI) co-founder about his DPT HR win. He said that the HR tournament was highly memorable for him because of the way he navigated that field and has distinct memories from that event. Goindi further added, “DPT is a homegrown tournament which is close to every Indian poker player. It is in our own backyard, we travel across the world to play, so when it’s in your own backyard it’s great. The event is great for networking, it feels good to meet players who we play with online and catch up with fellow grinders.”

We also asked Goindi what sets DPT apart from other live series and this pro wasted no time in highlighting the fact that DPT is one of the biggest live poker events in India with the heftiest guarantees and largest player pool which automatically makes it the best live series in India.

We couldn’t miss asking this ever-so vibrant pro about that one thing he will surely avoid at the upcoming DPT edition. Goindi mentioned that he will ensure he gets a good amount of sleep before the High Roller event and also make it in time for the tournament.

We also asked this IOPC Jul 2021 Saturday Spotlight winner to share a message for the players who will be participating in the DPT Nov 2022 event. Goindi stated that it is important that players get to the venue in time for their Day 2s. He also added that players will be grinding in four to five tournaments so the variance will be extremely high, hence, players need to come with that mindset for the games. The popular poker pro signed off by saying that players heading for DPT Nov 2022 should enjoy the live poker experience, the vibe and have a great time.
