Gutshot’s DPT Special Edition Out Now!

We know you’ve been waiting for this one all along and the wait is finally over. Gutshot’s Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) Special Edition is out now! Excited to know what the winners have to say? We bet you are. But hang on, we have more in this special edition. Readers will also get to know what went into making this stupendous poker tournament series from the Poker Head of DPT—Praveen Dwarkanath.

From the winner’s vault we have Sumit Lalchandani—winner of the DPT April 2022 Main Event (ME) on the cover. This Pune-based player talks about surviving the ME despite being the short stack among the top three players on the final table, setting smaller goals and holding onto your own in a game. While Lalchandani shares many insights, he highlights how a visit to Deltin Royale while vacationing in Goa turned into a historic moment for him.

Moving on to the other winners of DPT April 2022, we have Vaibhav Shah the cash games player from Goa shipping his maiden DPT title (11K Warm-up). He’s not the only one who’s heart is filled with excitement and thrill. We also spoke to Anant Purohit, winner of the 15 Lakh Freeroll. This poker veteran reveals why he loves grinding on the DPT felts and shipping the 15 Lakh Freeroll which everyone there had eyes on. Next up, we have Aayush Arya who shipped the 65K High Roller for a career-best score. This win was not easy considering he beat poker pro Paawan Bansal in heads-up.

After the High Roller comes the Bounty Hunter—Amit Kaushik. This poker pro with just six big blinds turned the game around and walked off like a boss. Interested to know this story? Read our DPT Special Edition. Tushar Bharti is a man with a plan. As a Texas Hold’em player, Bharti shipped the DPT 15K PLO event. Yes, we all were surprised that Bharti made it look like clockwork.

Finally, we have the femme fatale—Kanchan Sharma. She walked in and walked out with a trophy after shipping the DPT 10K Women’s Special. Sharma displayed in all glory how a poker pro does it (nails it)!
