Indians were unaffected by the Monday Blues on the poker felts yesterday. While Zarvan Tumboli made the country proud by shipping the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Vietnam Main Event for $131,394, the online felts also witnessed some intense action unfold. Here’s a quick run-through of what went down last night on the virtual felts:
Spartan Poker’s ReCharge was as usual a power-packed tourney. The 184 entries inclusive of 53 re-entries and 130 rebuys, surpassed the initial guarantee as the final prize pool stood at ₹7,34,000. The min-cash stood at ₹6,459 as the top 31 places were paid.
Tarush Gupta aka ‘Tarush123’ topped the table and bagged ₹1,55,241 as the top prize. ‘Pokervlogger’ Himanshu Chhikara finished second for a paycheque of ₹1,04,521.
Adda52’s Iron Man witnessed 183 entries and 144 re-entries battling it out. The top 34 places finished in the money as the min-cash stood at ₹5,600.
Ratul Steves aka ‘riverking021’ shipped the tourney and added ₹2,00,000 to his bankroll. At the runner-up spot, ‘goofy25’ cashed ₹1,21,200.
The Big Show on PokerBaazi was indeed a huge affair where 191 entries and 155 re-entries surpassed the initial guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹10,38,000. The min-cash stood at ₹5,810 as the top 45 places were paid.
Mystery players ‘Morpheus’ and ‘pokoyt’ ended the tourney in a deal and pocketed ₹1,86,000 and ₹1,85,000 in prize money, respectively.
