Goonjan Mall Leads Star-Studded FTS Big Game Final Table

It’s the fourth featured tournament of the Final Table Series (FTS) 2.0 on Spartan Poker and this one is the INR 85 Lakh GTD Big Game Event which is the biggest guarantee tournament so far in this online poker series. We of course did expect some of India’s top players to be a part of the field but we didn’t expect so many known entities to make the final table!

After kicking off at 8pm, the tournament saw a total of 543 entries each registering with a buy-in of INR 16,500 and the final table was hit a little after a little over 7 hours of intense gameplay. The tournament halts at the final table to be live streamed tomorrow and currently, it’s Goonjan Mall aka ‘gmtesting’ who holds the biggest stack from among these final eight players!

The final table resumes at 6pm on live stream today and if we know one thing, it’s the fact that it’s not going to be an easy path for Mall as there are a number of known names in contention to win this event on Spartan Poker. One of them is the defending FTS Main Event champion Arjun Pasricha while other known heavyweights on the FT include the likes of Vivek Rughani and Pulkit Goyal!

For those who remember, Rughani ran deep in the WSOP Main Event in 2018 where he finished 88th while Pulkit Goyal recently won himself a WSOP Circuit Ring. As for Pasricha, this is his second featured tournament FT of the series already while Kushagra Mehta has also gone on to make his second live streamed final table.

Final Table Chip Counts:

  1. Goonjan Mall aka ‘gmtesting’ – 3,525,107 chips
  2. Arjun Pasricha aka ‘lol this guy’ – 2,777,602 chips
  3. Vivek Rughani aka ‘Pokerbatman27’ – 2,016,264 chips
  4. Pulkit Goyal aka ‘Championplayer’ – 1,857,946 chips
  5. Kushagra Mehta aka ‘Nkush’ – 1,211,980 chips
  6. Rohit Singh aka ‘Madmoney007’ – 874,699 chips
  7. Soham Pal aka ‘galafoooo’ – 712,034 chips
  8. Guddu Chaudhary aka ‘blackdgold’ – 599,368 chips

We can expect a whole lot of fun and action when play resumes at 6pm this evening and you can tune in to our Facebook and YouTube channels for the same. Until then, keep reading GutshotMagazine.com for all updates on the top online and live poker tournaments in India.
