According to a report by World Casino News, GGPoker recently launched a Super Million$ Anniversary event with a $10,300 buy-in featuring a $5 million prize pool. The event had around 567 entries with five starting flights. The prize pool was increased by $67,00,00 and an online player “judd trump” won first place in the event.
Reports stated that the player had already made it to the final table two times in the past and is not a stranger to the Super Million$. And the cards being in his favour, he claimed the win, earning $976,379 along the way. All the prizes were increased due to the large player turnout of the event.
According to a report by World Casino News, Chris Frank held the chip lead when the final day began with 10 million in chips. Online player “judd trump” was second in chips and had to work his way through several top players like Adrian Mateos and Joakim Anderson to make it to the end.
Reports stated that at the final table Chris Frank still held the chip lead, and it was not by a small margin. However, as the action continued, Frank’s competitors slowly started to chip away at Frank’s stack and eventually, he lost the hand, getting eliminated in the fifth place. Soon after that “judd trump” gained the chip lead, eliminating every other player one by one until it was just him and Andersson. When heads-up play began, Andersson held the chip lead. “judd trump” then doubled up soon after the round started, and eventually earned the win.
In the end Andersson went all-in with his final five million in chips with 9-6 of spades. A five of diamonds on the turn gave Andersson outs but the five of hearts on the river did not help. The online poker win went to “judd trump” with Andersson having to settle for the second-place finish, earning $752,891, and “judd trump” making his way to the Super Million$ with $97,63,79.
