Outriders released its latest update this weekend claiming it to be the biggest Outriders patch to date. However, the new patch did not really go down well with its fans. The game received a lot of love and praise when it was initially launched. Since then, the developers, People Can Fly have been constantly fixing, patching and updating the game for a better user experience, but their efforts don’t seem to impress the fans.
Every update that the developers released post its launch, has received more backlash from fans who voiced their disappointment. Many also felt that developers were trying to kill their own game every chance they get. Social media, as well as discussion forums like Reddit, are full of complaints from upset fans about the new updates of their beloved game.
The demo version of the game had received a lot of positive feedback and was hailed by the gamers. However, after its launch, the game took a different direction. Every update just degrades the game further and a similar thing has happened with the latest update.
The backlash is not just from a couple of dejected fans, but from numerous members and gaming communities. A common concern is that the developers are more concerned about fixing the game rather than fixing what the fans and community wants fixed in the game.
Despite efforts of improving the game via newer updates, the game still faces network issues, inventory and bugs, which hampers the gaming experience. The issue of the latest update is yet to be addressed by the developers. The Outriders community believes the only way to avoid this issue is by playing with known people.
With no clarity on the issues faced by the gamers, the developers continue to draw flak. If this continues and the community’s concerns are not addressed or fixed, Outriders might end up upsetting and losing a lot of its fans and players over time.
