Gaby Livshitz leads the final table of EPT Prague Main Event

Hilton Prague is studded by the top players of the poker industry as one of the most prestigious tournaments, the PokerStars LIVE European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague is underway. The final day is quite near and players from all over the world have represented their home countries. The six-day prolonged Main Event is still on the run to crown the ultimate champion of the final event of the year!

Day 2 of the Main Event itself saw the third biggest Main Event in 13 years with a grand 1,154 entries creating an incredible prize pool of €5.59 million. However, the day began with 413 players and but only 141 could survive the daunting battlefield. It was Germany’s Roman Herold to amass a maximum of 796,000 chips followed by China’s Xiaqing Ji with 768,000 and the world number one Bryn Kenney with 656,000 chips.

Now, who wouldn’t know the player to make history, Hossein Ensan, the proud 2019 WSOP Main Event bracelet winner who was a part of 41 hopefuls to progress to Day 4. These toughies have been assured a slice of €17,640 from the €5.59 million prize pool. Day 3 saw Italy’s Luigi Shehadeh bagging 2,287,000 chips following his heel stood Gabu Livshitz with 2,053,000 chips.

Day 4 of the Main Event observed Ensan tumbling down to 28th place by Luke Marsh’s straight. Gradually into the tournament, only 12 players remained with Hungarian chip leader Nobert Szecsi (picture above), accumulating the largest stack of 6,715,000 chips.

With a handful of 5 surviving players progressing to Day 6 and each one is guaranteed at least €241,230 and the first-place prize of €1,005,600 (~INR 7.96 Crores). The final 5 was topped by Gaby Livshitz (picture below) with 11,205,000 chips tailed by Ricardo Da Rocha with 7,925,000 chips. The final table will watch players from around five different countries, namely Israel, Brazil, Hungary, Belarus, and Portugal.

3. Norbert Szecsi – 7,350,000
4. Mikalai Pobal – 4,740,000
5. Tomas Paiva – 3,380,000

The player to bust on the final day would receive a minimum of €241,230 (~INR 1.90 Crore). Here is a look at the final payouts:

• 4^th place – €316,780
• 5^th place – €241,230
