FTS 3.0: A Quick Recap Of The Glorious Series

Another glorious season of the Final Table Series (FTS) 3.0 on Spartan Poker has come to end and believe us, it was a total banger! The 10-days long series which took place between 10th September to 19th September offered a humongous prize pool of ₹12 crore. The poker fest featured 10 marquee tournaments, whose final tables (FT) were live-streamed. The live streams which brought the action-packed FTs to the screens of the viewers were made even more exciting and entertaining by the biggest names in poker- Sam Razavi, Kevin MacPhee and Mahima Walia Das. The streams were hosted by none other than the Editor-In-Cheif of Gutshot, Peter Abraham.

The action-packed series concluded on the 20th September 2021, with the final table of the Main Event. Let’s relieve the majestic marquee events of the series and know more about its acclaimed winners:

FTS 3.0 Friday Special 

FTS 3.0 Friday Special was the first marquee event of the series. The FT of this event which took place on 11th September 2021, witnessed Haider Madraswala aka ‘Callmebabe’ lift the title for ₹9,74,500. Madraswala was also the chip leader when the FT resumed. The FT had other notable players like Arunkumar Singh, Mohit Mehta, Guneet Kwatra and Ram Kakkar among others.

FTS 3.0 Saturday Special 

FTS 3.0 Saturday Special was nailed by Manas Kalita who won ₹7,79,600 by shipping this tourney. The Saturday Special was a star-studded tourney with players like Mithun Mahesh, Arsh Grover, Sahil Chutani and Mohammad Azhar among others.

FTS 3.0 Sunday Special

Arun Karthik shipped the FTS 3.0 Sunday Special tourney for ₹11,64,000. Karthik successfully overpowered players like Haider Madraswala, Piyush Jain, and Devang Yadav to clinch the title.

FTS 3.0 Double Stack

FTS 3.0 Double Stack tourney was clinched by Ashish Munot for ₹4,91,490 by beating players like Archit Saraogi and Mohammad Azhar among others. Archit Saraogi aka ‘Archit789,’ who was the chip leader ended up finishing fourth at this event.

FTS 3.0 Challenger

FTS 3.0 Challenger event was shipped by Karan Mehta who added a handsome ₹7.72 Lakh to his bankroll. The FT of this event also included players like Harsh Dembla, Rajat Sharma, Neel Joshi and Nitesh Katiyar.

FTS 3.0 Big Game

Aman Kumar Sharma beat top pros like IOPC July 2021 Legends winner Amit Gehani, Abhijeet Kumar, IOPC January 2021 Main Event winner Laksh Pal Singh, online regs Vinayak Bajaj, Vishnu Khandelwal and Arun Sriram at the FT to clinch the FTS 3.0 Big Game. Sharma laughed his way to the bank with ₹15,59,200. Amit Gehani who started as the chip leader finished third at this tourney.

FTS 3.0 Monster Stack

Vaibhav Sharma and Aniket Waghmare ended the FTS 3.0 Monster Stack in a deal as Sharma clinched the title for ₹9,78,529. The FT included players like online regs Shagun Jain and Suraj Todi.

FTS 3.0 High Roller

FTS 3.0 High Roller was nailed by chip leader Vivek Singh. The pro defeated the likes of Manish Lakhotia, Siddharth Karia and Arunkumar Singh to nail the title for ₹25,55,000.

FTS 3.0 Head Hunter

Chandan Arora emerged victorious at the FTS 3.0 Head Hunter by beating top players like Sahil Chutani, Mithun Mahesh and Ankit Wadhawan. Arora cashed ₹5,65,762 (plus ₹2,46,953 in bounty) by nailing this event.

FTS 3.0 Main Event

The FTS 3.0 Main Event concluded with Ankit Wadhawan lifting the ultimate title like a true pro. Wadhawan brought two of his stacks to the FT and pocketed ₹33,13,027 by winning the title. He also cashed ₹8.54 Lakh by finishing sixth in the same tourney.

Apart from these marquee events, the series also featured several daily tournaments and a leaderboard worth ₹30 Lakh. Vinay Rajpal emerged as the FTS 3.0 leaderboard champion and pocketed ₹10 Lakh.
