While many carried on playing into the wee hours of the morning, only a few emerged victorious. Here’s the full scoop on last night’s high-octane action.
The show was certainly on at Spartan Poker with players flocking to play The Elite tournament. The event welcomed a total of 434 entries and had a buy-in of ₹11,000. It crushed the advertised guarantee and recorded the final prize as ₹43.4 Lakh. The top 39 players got a taste of the sweet prize pool and took home a min-cash of ₹29,946.
Poker pro Abhishek Gubba aka ‘PoeticInjustice’ shipped the tournament and added ₹8,70,170 to his bankroll. Mystery player ‘sewadari’ was the runner up and walked away with ₹5,78,522 as prize money.

The top 43 pla took a bite of this big prize pool and were paid a min-cash of ₹15,786.
Emerging into the spotlight once again was multiple IOPC title winner Aniket Waghmare aka ‘anteman.’ Waghmare clinched the top spot in the tournament and pocketed ₹7,11,797 as his prize money. Mystery player ‘GigaaBet’ was the event runner up and took home ₹4,30,523 in winnings. Other well-known poker pros like Arsh Grover, Goonjan Mall, and Yudhishter Jaswal also made the money.

As always, PokerBaazi’s The Weekly Highroller gave players an exciting time as it completely crushed its original guarantee by a whopping ₹8.9 Lakh! This was due to the 209 total entries that paid a buy-in of ₹11,000 to play in the tourney. The top 24 places were paid a min-cash of ₹20,060 and it was Dhinesh Kumar aka ‘dhineshrocky007’ that won the title spot. Kumar took home ₹5,05,000 in winnings after beating online reg and pro player Gaurav Sood aka ‘gaug17’ who took home ₹3,54,000 as prize money.
