Friday Round Up: Poker Pros Ashish, Raghav, Arjanveer And Sreekanth Clinch Winning Titles

The weekend began with a bang for the Indian poker community as several high-profile players shipped tournaments. Platforms like Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, and Adda2 conducted high GTD tournaments, and here’s a lowdown of all the action that took place on Friday.

The Elite – 30 Lakh GTD

Spartan Poker is one such platform that always has tournaments with high guaranteed prize pools. The brand is known for its players the best. This time too, there were two high value tournaments that took place yesterday. The Elite tournament had a total of 281 entries and the top 27 players were paid a min-cash of INR 30,000. The winner of this tournament was none other than pro Ashish Ahuja aka ‘Spewushhiiiii’ who took home a whopping INR 6,19,855 in prize money.

The Futuristic was yet another high GTD tournament on Spartan Poker. The tournament buy-in was an INR 880 event. The top 119 places were paid a min-cash of INR 2,271. India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) veteran Arjanveer Singh Chadha aka ‘Bazzingaa’ shipped this tournament and won INR 1,90,208 in prize money.

The Weekly Highroller 12 LAC GTD

PokerBaazi’s ‘The Weekly Highroller’ conducted a INR 12 Lakh GTD tournament. This was an INR 11,000 buy-in tournament and the top 15 players were paid a min-cash of INR 19,200. Pro player Raghav Bansal aka ‘thatssosick’ shipped this Highroller event and won INR 3.22 Lakh in prize money.

The Ballers – 17 Lakh GTD

The winner of this tournament was Sreekanth Narayan ‘n0thing’ who thickened his bankroll with INR 4,64,543 in prize money.
