Friday Round Up: Narayan Ships Spartan Poker’s Elite & Becomes Biggest Winner Of The Night


Friday grind on poker sites was all about highrollers and high-value tournaments. Adda52 hosted a Pot-Limit Omaha tournament which was shipped by Ashish Ahuja. The winners from last night were Sreekanth Narayan, Dhinesh Kumar and Anuj Yadav. Keep reading to know more about the action that went down on virtual poker felts last night.

Futuristic – ₹7 Lakh GTD 

The Futuristic tournament on Spartan Poker was a deal between a mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘Mahaka1’ and Himanshu Arora, aka ‘shambolic794.’ The mystery player cashed ₹2,24,368 while Arora took home ₹1,12,490 in prize money. 953 entries battled it out. The top 87 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹2,363 was paid. The advertised guarantee was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹7,62,400.

The runner-up in this event was Siddarth Singhvi aka ‘PeterPunter’ who cashed ₹4,02,155 in prize money. The tournament had 269 entries in total. The top 27 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹26,900 was paid. The advertised guarantee of this event was crushed and the final prize pool stood at ₹26,90,000.

DOPT PLO Special – ₹15 Lakh GTD

The runner-up was a mystery player called ‘anonymous789’ who took home ₹3,27,787 in prize money. The tournament had 172 entries in total. The top 17 places made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹22,500 was paid in this ₹7,500  buy-in event.

The Weekly Highroller – ₹12 Lakh GTD

The ₹11,000 buy-in event was shipped by Dhinesh Kumar aka ‘dhineshrocky007’ who took home ₹3,55,000 in prize money. The runner-up Anuj Yadav aka ‘brockLesnar95’ added ₹2,49,000 to his bankroll.

The Super Highroller tournament on PokerStars had 105 entries in total. The top 13 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹29,700 was paid. The event ended in Anuj Yadav aka ‘brockLesnar95’ nailing the tourney for ₹2,76,521.  Anonymous player ‘Rjnshpl’ was the runner-up for ₹2,12,375.
