Feyzullah Karaarslan Ships 2022 WSOPC Rozvadov €1,700 ME  

Turkish player Feyzullah Karaarslan shipped the €1,700 Main Event (ME) of the 2022 World Series of Poker International Circuit (2022 WSOPC). After just six and a half hours of play on the final day, Karaarslan walked away with €204,053 (₹1.71 crore) and his first WSOP circuit gold ring after being crowned the ME champion.

Held at the King’s Resort in Rozvadov, the ME witnessed a total of 808 entries fighting hard for the lucrative top spot. The final prize pool generated was a grand €1,189,780 (₹9.98 crore). Aleksandar Tomovic was the runner-up of the event and had to settle for €127,017 (₹1.06 crore) in prize money. The final heads-up battle between Karaarslan and Tomovic lasted only 15 minutes.  The tournament ended after a four-bet post was won by Karaarslan whose ace-ten suited would ultimately give him a flush while Tomovic flopped a top pair.

In addition to their respective finishes, the top 12 players also received entry to the 2022 WSOP Europe €10,350 Main Event as part of a year-long promotion in Europe’s biggest poker arena. The top 12 players will return to the King’s Resort later in 2022 for the event. Roman Chochola, a local player, finished in third place for €90,894 and the 2021 WSOPE bracelet winner Simone Andrian exited in the eighth position for €22,058.
