After his performance in IPL 2014, Delhi Daredevils (DD) went all in to sign Yuvraj Singh. They bought him for a whopping ₹16 Crore, which made him the costliest player in IPL history at that time. The allrounder had a decent season for Delhi Daredevils but was unable to replicate the form he had found with Royal Challengers Bangalore. Delhi decided to not continue with such an expensive buy after a very average first season and allowed Yuvraj Singh to leave after just one season.
