Football is an ever-changing sport, with new young talents emerging every season. There could be a player who has never been heard of, and he could be a star tomorrow. However, very few players manage to stay at the top of their game consistently. This article talks about some of these players full of potential who have been performing well for quite a while and are regarded as some of the best youngsters in the world.

Joao Neves is one of the most exciting talents in world football. He made his senior debut while at Benfica B, in a game against Academico de Viseu on 6th August 2022. He then moved to Benfica’s first team, where he continued performing. On 5th August 2024, the young midfielder signed a five-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain, who will look after the player’s development and hope to turn him into one of the best midfielders in the world.

9. Alejandro Garnacho – Manchester United

Alejandro Garnacho has been lighting it up with Manchester United in the past few seasons. While the winger is a product of the youth academy, his career originally started with Getafe. He then moved to Atletico Madrid before joining Manchester Inited’s youth academy in 2020. The talented youngster made his senior debut for the club on 28th April 2022 against Chelsea. He had his breakthrough with the club in the 2022/23 season and has not looked back since.

8. Endrick – Real Madrid

Endrick is a Brazilian star who currently plays as a striker for the La Liga side Real Madrid. The forward started his footballing journey with Palmeiras and, after impressing with the youth squad, was awarded his first-team debut on 6th October 2022 against Coritiba. He continued impressing with the club, and on 15th December 2022, La Liga club Real Madrid announced that they had reached an agreement with Palmeiras, which would see the young star join Madrid in July 2024 after turning 18. The star is now playing for one the biggest clubs in Europe and is just 18 years old.

Kobbie Mainoo is another Manchester United star who looks like he will develop into one of the best players in the world. The midfielder spent his youth career at Manchester United before being given his senior debut at the club on 10th January 2023 against Leicester City in the Premier League. The youngster has since continued performing and also represented England at the UEFA Euro 2024. The player seems to have an extremely high ceiling when it comes to footballing talent, and it will be very interesting to see just how far he can make it.

6. Eduardo Camavinga – Real Madrid

Eduardo Camavinga has been in the spotlight for such a long time now that many people don’t realise that he is just 21 years old. The midfielder is extremely versatile and can play in multiple positions. Rennes awarded him his senior debut in 2018. After spending many years with the youth academy, the French star was handed his debut on 6th April 2019 against Angers. The talented youngster continued impressing with the club and transferred to Real Madrid on 31st August 2021. Camavinga has continued developing with the Los Blancos and has developed into an even better player than he was at Rennes.

5. Pedri – Barcelona

Pedri is a player who is considered by many to be a La Masia product, but that is, in fact, not true. After stints with Tegueste and Juventud Laguna’s youth academies, Pedri joined Las Palmas. He very quickly managed to advance from the youth team, making his senior debut on 18th August 2019 against Huesca. Barcelona recognised his talent very quickly and signed him, announcing the arrival of the youngster on 1st July 2020. He has since been one of the key players in Barcelona’s set-up. The midfielder is just 21 years old and has a long career ahead of him.

4. Florian Wirtz – Bayer Leverkusen

Florian Wirtz has either scored or assisted in every game he has started for Bayer Leverkusen this season.

Florian Wirtz has finally started to show his true talent to the world. The attacking midfielder has been in the spotlight for quite some time now but is now shining beyond recognition. Wirtz originally played for the youth academies of SV Grun-Weib Brauweiler and FC Koln before joining Bayer Leverkusen in 2020. The young star was almost immediately promoted to the first team and made his debut on 18th May 2020 against Werder Bremen. The German star’s true capabilities have come to light after Xabi Alonso took over as manager, and it will be very interesting to see how he can help Florian Wirtz develop into one of the best attacking midfielders in the world.

Lamine Yamal’s rise to success has been meteoric. The Spanish winger played with La Torreta’s youth academy before joining Barcelona in 2014. He then spent a long time developing with the youth academy and proving his worth to the club before he was awarded his first-team debut on 29th April 2023 against Real Betis. Since making his debut, his rise has been phenomenal. He is arguably Barcelona’s best player as of now and arguably Spain’s best player at the 2024 UEFA Euro, and he helped his country win the competition. A case can be made that he is not just one of the best youngsters but one of the best players in the world as of now.

2. Jamal Musiala – Bayern Munich

Jamal Musiala seems to have gone under the radar recently, with a lot of hype being around Lamine Yamal and Jude Bellingham, but the reason we have put him over Yamal is due to his consistency. The young midfielder has been playing wonderfully for Bayern Munich for quite a while now and even helped them win the league title in the last game of the 2022/23 season. The German made his debut for Bayern Munich on 20th June 2020 against SC Freiburg and has since continued developing into a fantastic player.

Jude Bellingham is, without a doubt, the most talented youngster in the world. Given his maturity and records, it’s hard to believe that he is just 21 years old. The English star played for two clubs professionally before joining Real Madrid. He played for Birmingham City and Borussia Dortmund before moving to Madrid on 14th June 2023 for a base transfer fee of $115 Million. This made him one of the most expensive players in the history of the sport. Bellingham has lived up to his hype and has continued performing brilliantly at Real Madrid, and it will be interesting to see just how much more the English star develops in his career.
