Sophie Ecclestone

The 24 year old is a slow left-arm spinner who has made a name for herself in world cricket with her accuracy and economy. Currently ranked No. 1-ranked bowler in T20I’s, Sophie Ecclestone has also fared very well in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023.

Having featured in more than 70 matches, Ecclestone has taken over 90 wickets in a short span. She not only has the knack of getting rid of the opposition batters but also boasts the ability to bowl economical spells. With an economy of under 6, and an average around 15.5, the English international is contention to walk away with the Purple cap in WPL 2023.  

Deepti Sharma 

Deepti Sharma has been one of the most consistent player in the Indian team circuit over the last few years. She has taken over 100 wickets in 90 matches while boasting an solid economy rate around 6. Apart from bowling economical spells, the young 24 year old also has a average under 20.

She is also a solid all rounder who is more than handy with the bat. UP Warriorz Women have a gem of a combination at their hands with the pairing of Deepti Sharma and Sophie Ecclestone seeming to be the best in business. It remains interesting to see if the duo can combine to threaten opposition batters in WPL 2023. 

Amelia Kerr

The young new Zealand based cricketer has been one of the best performing players for the Kiwis over the last few years. In 59 matches, Kerr has taken 58 wickets while averaging 21.43. With an economy of 5.81, the 22 year old has shown great talent in not only being a wicket taking bowler, but also someone who can deliver economical spells. Joining Mumbai Indians ahead of WPL 2023, big things are expected of the young all rounder ahead of the upcoming season.
