Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has been vocal in supporting out-of-form Virat Kohli amidst the Indian’s struggles with the bat. He recently announced the launch of his biopic named ”Rawalpindi Express Running against the odds” on Twitter. After the announcement, the former Pakistan speedster gave a terrific reply when a fan questioned him to describe Kohli in one word.
Shoaib Akhtar hosted a Question-and-Answer session (Q&A) on his official Twitter handle after announcing the launch of his biopic. He wrote a tweet saying, “Q & A for half an hour about this & a lot more. Use the hashtag #RawalpindiExpressTheFilm and you may get lucky with a response.”

While many questions flooded in, one fan asked Akhtar to describe former India captain Virat Kohli in a word. The fan questioned, “One word for Virat Kohli #Rawalpindiexpressthefilm,” while replying to Akhtar’s tweet on the official account. What shook everyone was the former Pakistan pacer’s answer. Responding to the fan’s question, Akhtar called the former Indian captain a legend of the game. He responded with, “Legend already.”

Speaking on his own official YouTube channel, Akhtar had earlier said, “People are saying that he should be dropped. Virat Kohli is finished. There is nothing more left in his career and he would not be able to do anything more in his career. To them, I say Virat Kohli is the greatest player. In the last 10 years, if there has been any greatest player, it is Virat. He has 1-2 bad years, he still has scored runs, just the century has not come.”
He added, “As a Pakistani, I’m supporting Virat Kohli because he has 70 centuries. It’s not Candy Crush. Only a great player can score these many centuries, something a normal player can’t do. When Kohli comes out of this phase, it will be a different Virat Kohli.”
