#PakvsHK: Can Pakistan Win This Asia Cup 2022 Clash?

The Pakistan cricket team is all set to square off against Hong Kong in their upcoming Asia Cup 2022 clash on 2nd September. Indian fans would also be keeping tabs on the game as the winner of this clash will qualify for the Super Four stages of the six-nation tournament.

Three teams have qualified for the next stages of Asia Cup 2022 with Afghanistan becoming the first side to make the cut after getting the better of Bangladesh. Later, the Rohit Sharma led Indian cricket team qualified for the final four with Sri Lanka the latest entrant in the list.

The upcoming Group A clash is a must-win for both teams as Pakistan and Hong Kong lost to India in the group stages of the tournament. The Men in Green lost to Rohit Sharma’s side in their first match of the Asia Cup 2022 campaign. They will be eager to get back on the winning ways and look to make it in the final four.

Babar Azam’s side will fancy their chances against Hong Kong. However, the associate nation is not to be taken lightly. Despite registering a 40-run loss to India, Nizakat Khan’s side is a team to be watched upon. Hong Kong fared well against the Men in Blue and could spring up a surprise against Pakistan, with Babar Azam’s men coming up with an inconsistent outing against India.

Twitter reactions ahead of Pakistan vs Hong Kong clash

Pakistan and Hong Kong are yet to play a T20I against each other. They will square off in the shortest format of the game for the first time having played each other thrice in ODIs. Hong Kong are yet to beat Pakistan in international cricket with the Men in Green winning the previous two Asia Cup games. While the loser of this clash will be eliminated from Asia Cup, the winner is set to qualify for the Super 4=four stages.
